Sobre o Diaita
O 9° Colóquio Luso-brasileiro de História e Culturas da Alimentação, ocorrerá entre os dias 25 e 27/10/23 em Vitória/ES, no campus da Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo em Goiabeiras. O Colóquio é resultado do projeto de investigação DIAITA: Patrimônio Alimentar da Lusofonia que visa promover um estudo aprofundado e interdisciplinar sobre uma temática fundamental de um patrimônio e identidades culturais comuns a portugueses e brasileiros: a História e a Cultura da Alimentação. A equipe é coordenada pela Profa. Dra. Carmen Soares (UC) e envolve um grupo de especialistas de várias áreas disciplinares (História, Arqueologia, Filologia, Museologia, Arte, Sociologia, Antropologia, Dietética, Gastronomia e Nutrição), da Antiguidade aos nossos dias.
Entre as ações promovidas está a criação de conteúdos científicos dedidacos à preservação e divulgação das Culturas Alimentares do Espaço Lusófono. Trata-se de um projeto em rede, pioneiro nesse campo, reunindo investigadores portugueses e brasileiros. O primeiro Colóquio Luso-Brasileiro de História da Alimentação: Patrimônio & Cultura ocorreu na Universidade de Coimbra em 2013.
The 9th Luso-Brazilian Colloquium on Food History and Cultures will take place between October 25th and 27th, 2023 in Vitória, ES, at the campus of the Federal University of Espírito Santo in Goiabeiras. The Colloquium is the result of the research project DIAITA: Food Heritage of the Lusophony, which aims to promote an in-depth and interdisciplinary study on a fundamental theme of shared heritage and cultural identities between Portuguese and Brazilians: the History and Culture of Food. The team is coordinated by Professor Dr. Carmen Soares (UC) and involves a group of experts from various disciplinary areas (History, Archaeology, Philology, Museology, Art, Sociology, Anthropology, Dietetics, Gastronomy, and Nutrition), from Antiquity to the present day.
Among the initiatives promoted is the creation of scientific content dedicated to the preservation and dissemination of Food Cultures in the Lusophone Space. This is a pioneering network project, bringing together researchers from Portugal and Brazil. The first Luso-Brazilian Colloquium on Food History: Heritage & Culture took place at the University of Coimbra in 2013.
